WISCONSIN HER PRESENTED BY BMO

Wisconsin HER Day

The Herd partnered with BMO and worked with WeEmpowHER to host over 400 women at the Wisconsin HER Day which was a free event with over 30 women speakers and two keynote speakers from all over Wisconsin who came together to support and lift up women. Each breakout room was focused on a different topic from health and wellness, family and relationships, to women in leadership and business.

Wisconsin HER Night

The Herd partnered with BMO to change their name to the Wisconsin HER for one night to celebrate Women’s empowerment. The specialty jerseys were designed with the theme of the female symbol otherwise known as the symbol for the planet Venus, which is the only planet named after a female. The overall jersey color is a light and dark pink gradient to represent the Roman goddess Venus, who was associated with pink. Within the color, there is a pattern called the Rose of Venus which is a sacred geometry pattern of the orbit as Venus revolves around the earth and can be seen as a five petal rose. The female symbol is also found on the center of the waistband of the shorts to encapsulate the essence of femininity in all its forms. The wordmark displayed proudly on the chest has an integrated side profile of women built into the H. The jersey auction raised over $1,958.06 for We EmpowHER. The game also featured an all-women’s broadcast team, an all-women official’s crew and Lisa Byington, the first female play-by-play announcer for the Bucks was recognized.
