Reggie Van Lee - Mentor, Philanthropist and Arts Advocate

Reggie Van Lee is a mentor, philanthropist and arts advocate who started his journey as an Alvin Ailey dancer.


He currently serves as the Chair of the Washington DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities and was previously appointed by President Obama to the President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities. He was named one of the top 25 consultants in the world by Consulting Magazine and Black Engineer of the Year by Black Engineer magazine. He holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from MIT and an MBA from Harvard University. Reggie is also a board member of Fortitude Re, Gallup, Inc, Deep Labs, OmniSpeech, the Women’s Venture Capital Fund II, National CARES Mentoring Movement, John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Studio Museum in Harlem, the Public Theater and the Julliard School.
