OSHKOSH, Wis. (Oct. 4, 2021) – The Wisconsin Herd, the NBA G League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks, will host a matchup against NBA G League Ignite at Oshkosh Arena on Saturday, Feb. 12 at 7 p.m. The game is part of a 10-game schedule for Ignite against NBA G League opponents.
A first-of-its-kind team dedicated to developing top young prospects in preparation for the NBA Draft, NBA G League Ignite is based in Walnut Creek, Calif., and includes elite players who are eligible for the NBA Draft as well as NBA and NBA G League veterans who serve as mentors to the team’s young talent. The program focuses on high-level competition and accelerated on-court development for players who are beginning their professional careers. Additionally, the team provides life skills training that includes financial literacy education, community service involvement and scholarship opportunities. While Ignite is not a traditional G League team, competition includes games against NBA G League opponents and matchups against international teams.
The Herd’s game against Ignite on Feb. 12 is not part of the Herd’s regular season schedule and will not count toward league standings.
Current Herd season ticket members will be given first priority to purchase single-game tickets to this exhibition game at a special rate beginning today. Remaining tickets will go on sale to the general public at a later date.
2021-22 season ticket memberships for the Herd are available now, beginning at $9 per game.
