Second win of back-to-back series

OSHKOSH, Wis. (Nov. 12, 2021) – The Wisconsin Herd, the NBA G League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks, won the second game of the back-to-back series against the Motor City Cruise in Detroit Friday night, winning 131-124. The Wisconsin Herd remains undefeated with a 3-0 record in the regular season and 2-0 on the road.

The Wisconsin Herd shot 57 percent from the field and 53 percent from three-point range, making a season-high 17 three-pointers. Jalen Lecque had three of the team’s five three-pointers in the first quarter. Lindell Wigginton ended the night going 5/6 from the three-point line. The team went 73% from the free throw line.

The Herd was led by Rayjon Tucker who posted a team-high of 27 points. Lindell Wigginton followed Tucker with 24 points and Wenyen Gabriel added 20. Jemerrio Jones played in his first game of the 2021-22 regular season with the Herd, adding five assists and four rebounds.

Detroit Pistons assignment player, Saben Lee, led all scorers with 40 points while Jamorko Pickett added 20 points for the Motor City Cruise.

Similar to game one of the series, the teams went back-and-forth throughout the game, resulting in 12 lead changes and 4 times tied. The Wisconsin Herd led at each quarter in tonight’s game compared to being down at each quarter the night before. The Herd led 35-32 after the first quarter, 67-61 at the half and 97-95 after the third quarter before pulling away for the 131-124 victory.

The Wisconsin Herd return home to Oshkosh Arena for their next game on Friday, November 19th with tip-off set for 7:00 p.m. CT. The team will host the Fort Wayne Mad Ants for the first time this season.
