WISCONSIN HERD CRUISE PAST MOTOR CITY IN 118-111 VICTORY

The Wisconsin Herd, the NBA G League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks, defeated the Motor City Cruise 118-111.
Victor Oladipo led the Herd with 23 points, six rebounds, and three assists. Kaden Anderson added 21 points and six rebounds, while Craig Randall II contributed 16 points with four three-pointers.
The top scorers for the Motor City Cruise were Jaden Akins with 33 points and Wendell Moore Jr. with 22 points.
The Herd opened aggressively, striking first with a John Butler Jr. dunk and a fast-break layup from Kira Lewis Jr. for an early 4-0 lead. Motor City returned with an alley-oop dunk and a transition bucket to tie the game at 4-4. After falling behind 15-8, Wisconsin regained control when Butler drilled a deep three, and Craig Randall II knocked down back-to-back triples in the final minute, giving Wisconsin a 28-25 lead after the first quarter.
Johnny Davis opened the frame with a three-pointer. Victor Oladipo added consecutive layups off steals, pushing the lead to 44-37. John Butler Jr. added a floater, and Victor Oladipo buried a free throw to cap a 15-0 run. Victor Oladipo punctuated the half with a step-back three, sending the Herd into halftime up 65-49. Wisconsin forced 12 turnovers in the period, converting them into 20 points. Victor Oladipo paced the Herd with 17 points in the first half.
Motor City mounted a comeback in the third, including a highlight dunk and a deep three. The Herd answered with timely buckets as Alex Antetokounmpo drilled consecutive threes to halt the run, and Dennis Smith Jr. added a three and a driving layup. Wisconsin maintained a 92-84 advantage heading into the fourth.
The Cruise trimmed the deficit to three after a triple and a floater. Victor Oladipo and Craig Randall II responded with two deep threes each, stretching the lead to 104-92. Kaden Anderson delivered the dagger, hitting back-to-back threes to keep Motor City at bay. The Herd sealed the win with clutch free throws in the final 30 seconds to secure the 118-111 Herd victory.
