WISCONSIN HERD ADDS JEREMY TYLER

The Wisconsin Herd, NBA G League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks, acquired Jeremy Tyler from the available player pool.

Tyler, a 6-10, 250-pound forward, played three years in the NBA and 11 years internationally. The San Diego native played two years professionally in Israel and Tokyo before being drafted with the 39th pick in the 2011 NBA Draft by the Charlotte Bobcats but was traded to the Golden State Warriors. During his rookie season, Tyler appeared in 42 games (23 starts) while averaging 4.9 points and 3.3 rebounds in 13.5 minutes per game. At the end of his second season, he was traded to the Atlanta Hawks but later joined the Santa Cruz Warriors to play out the remainder of the 2012-13 season. Tyler signed with the Knicks for the 2013-14 season and appeared in 41 games.

Following the 2012-13 season, Tyler joined the Shanxi Zhongyu of the Chinese Basketball Association where he averaged a double-double of 22.1 points and 11.2 rebounds in 41 games. He played two more seasons in China before moving to the Sydney Kings for the 2017-18 National Basketball League season. Tyler went on to make stops in the Philippine Basketball Association, the Baloncesto Superior Nacional League and then returned to the Chinese Basketball Association.
