RAPTORS 905 DEFEATS HERD

OSHKOSH, Wis. (March 25, 2022) – The Wisconsin Herd, the NBA G League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks, lost 123-105 to the Raptors 905. The Herd was within two points before the Raptors hit four unanswered three-point shots to put them ahead by 15. The Raptors led by 11 at the end of the first quarter. The Herd made several runs but was unable to take the lead. The Raptors won the game 123-105.
Brendan Bailey led the Herd with 18 points while Rayjon Tucker and Frank Mason III added 17 points each.
Justin Champagnie led the Raptors 905 with 45 points and 12 rebounds while Reggie Perry added 29 points with 12 rebounds.
Rayjon Tucker hit a three to put the Herd on the board at the beginning of the first quarter. The Herd stayed close trailing by only two points with six minutes remaining in the first quarter. The Raptors hit four three-point shots to put them ahead by 15. The Herd answered with an 8-2 run but the Raptors held on to lead 38-27 at the end of the first quarter.
The Raptors opened the second quarter with a 9-3 run to go ahead by 17 points. The Raptors continued to build their lead going up 56-38 with four and a half minutes left. The Raptors were on top at the end of the half 66-45. Marcus Graves led the Herd with 12 points in the first half.
The Raptors led 83-62 with five minutes left in the third quarter. The Raptors stayed ahead 103-80 at the end of the third quarter after outscoring the Herd 30-24.
Frank Mason III converted a layup to put the Herd within 18 points with six and a half minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. The Herd mounted a small comeback outscoring the Raptors 36-27 in the fourth quarter, but it wasn’t enough to overthrow the 905, who went on to win 123-105.
The Herd will play their last home game on Sunday, March 25 against the Grand Rapids Gold with tip-off set for 2:30 p.m. CST.
