MIKE TAYLOR - First player in NBA history to be drafted out of the NBA Development League when selected as the 55th in the NBA Draft

Mike Taylor is known for being the first player in NBA history to be drafted out of the NBA Development League when he was selected 55th overall in the 2008 NBA Draft by the Portland Trail Blazers. Before being drafted, Taylor led the Idaho Stampede to the NBA Development League Championship in 2008. Taylor's career spans 18 years in the NBA, NBA Development League, and internationally. Currently, Taylor is a co-captain for the Ghost Ballers in the Big3 League.

Taylor started the Taylor~Made Foundation in 2009 which is a non-profit organization with a focus to help underprivileged youth in the inner city of Milwaukee and beyond. The purpose of the foundation is to provide youth with tools to help them be self-sufficient in education, career development, community service, and teamwork.

Mike is releasing a silent Black anime comic book called "Mike Taylor's The Indomitable Legacy of the Underworld GOAT" which tells the story of his life journey while educating the reader on resiliency and positive mental health. Taylor is also working on a supporting curriculum with a goal of introducing the curriculum to the school system.

Taylor partners with Stryv365 which is a no-profit that focus on youth that have faced childhood trauma. The goal of Stryv365 is to equip youth with a resilient mindset through trauma-informed programming in education, athletics and activity by fostering positive childhood relationships, strengthening interpersonal skills, and increasing the ability for youth to be resilient during challenging times.
