BEHERD SUICIDE PREVENTION AWARENESS PRESENTED BY RHYME

The Herd will change the team’s name for one night to the “Wisconsin BEHERD” to support suicide prevention awareness for the game and will wear specialty Wisconsin BEHERD jerseys. Last season's jerseys featured different shades of teal and purple which are the main colorways of suicide prevention. The jersey paid homage to the Van Gogh painting “Irises” which is used as a sign of hope for mental health. Some other elements of the jersey included the suicide prevention awareness ribbon in the top corner, 988 featured on the belt of the shorts which is the suicide/crisis lifeline and the phrase “You are not alone” is embedded in the jersey as a reminder to those who may be struggling that there is support available. The Jerseys raised $2,898.93 for NAMI Oshkosh.
