Wolf has 11 seasons of NBA playing experience and 17 seasons of coaching experience. Prior to joining the Herd, Joe served as head coach of the NBA G League Greensboro Swarm from 2018-20 where he set a franchise record for most wins in one season. Additionally, Wolf spent time as a head coach for the Idaho Stampede & Colorado 14ers where he had 17 players called up to the NBA. Wolf also coached at the NBA level with stops at the Milwaukee Bucks and the Brooklyn Nets as well as at the college level with William & Mary and UNC-Wilmington. The Wisconsin native led Kohler High School to 3 state titles and in 2005 the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel named him Wisconsin’s greatest high school basketball player ever. He went on to become an All-ACC player at UNC and made four NCAA tournament appearances while playing alongside Michael Jordan and Kenny Smith. Following his college career, Wolf was drafted No. 13 overall by the LA Clippers in the 1987 NBA Draft and went on to play 11 years in the NBA for seven franchises including the Milwaukee Bucks.
