Each season the Wisconsin Herd hosts multiple charity basketball games between the Police Departments (badges) and the Fire Departments (Boots) of different cities in the Fox Valley. This unique event showcases local heroes, provides community and entertainment for the branches and their friends/families and raises money for each department. This year the Fond du Lac Police Department faced the Fond du Lac Fire Department and the Winnebago County Sheriff's Office faced the Fond du Lac Police Department.
