Wisconsin Herd to Honor Service Members With Military-Themed Jersey on Dec. 7

As part of Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, the Wisconsin Herd, the NBA G League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks, will honor military service members on Friday, Dec. 7, at 7 p.m. at Menominee Nation Arena.

The Herd will wear special navy-themed camouflage jerseys that will be auctioned off at https://whmilitary.afrogs.org. Fans can bid now through Dec. 9 at 12 p.m. with all proceeds benefitting Toys for Tots in Winnebago County.

Fans are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toys to the game for donation to Toys for Tots. Individuals who donate will receive a coupon, to be redeemed at the Wisconsin Herd Pro Shop, for 20 percent off their entire purchase. In addition, if fans buy any Herd Columbia apparel, $10 from the sale will be donated to Toys for Tots. 

Tickets will be available at the gate at a 20 percent discount for all active military and veterans when they show their military ID. The general public can purchase tickets to the game by visiting www.wisconsinherd.com or by calling a Herd sales representative at (920) 233-HERD.

About Toys for Tots

Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) not-for-profit public charity is the fund raising, funding and support organization for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. The Foundation was created at the behest of the U.S. Marine Corps and provides support in accordance with a Memorandum of Understanding with the Commander, Marine Forces Reserve, who directs the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. The Foundation has supported Toys for Tots since 1991.

The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November, and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.
