Wisconsin Herd advances its undefeated record to 5-0 with another home win

OSHKOSH, WI (Nov. 21, 2021) – The Wisconsin Herd, NBA G League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks, won its second game against the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, 114-102. The Wisconsin Herd trailed the Fort Wayne Mad Ants until the Herd took the lead, 96-95, with seven minutes left in the game. The Wisconsin Herd continued the lead by outscoring the Mad Ants 26-10 in the fourth quarter.

The Wisconsin Herd was led in scoring by Sandro Mamukelashvili who tallied a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Tremont Waters followed with 20 points. Jemerrio Jones also posted a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Justin Robinson, a two-way player from the Milwaukee Bucks, started in his first game for the Herd finishing with 17 points and six rebounds.

The Fort Wayne Mad Ants were led by Terry Taylor with 20 points and Duane Washington Jr. added 19. Nate Hinton led both teams in rebounds with 13.

The Wisconsin Herd outscored the Mad Ants in the paint (68-44) and fast-break points (25-7). The Mad Ants had 25 turnovers that led to 33 points for the Herd with 14 of those turnovers being in the second half. The Herd had 12 turnovers in the second half, but none led to points for the Mad Ants.

Similar to the previous game the Herd had an 18-point comeback to gain the win. There was only one lead change of the game in the fourth quarter when the Herd took the lead. The largest lead for the Herd was 14. The Mad Ants led in the first quarter (30-21), at the half (67-57), and in the third quarter (92-88).

Both teams shot under 50% in the field goals and three-pointers. The Herd had the team's lowest three-point percentage of the season with 21.2% going 7-32.

The Wisconsin Herd will play again on Monday, November 29th at home against the Windy City Bulls with tip-off set for 7:00 p.m. CST.
