The Wisconsin Herd, the NBA G League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks, selected Kanellos Garbis (59th overall pick) and Michael Qualls (86th overall pick) in today’s 2018 NBA G League Draft.
Garbis appeared in 30 games (21 starts) for Sefa Arkadikos (Greece) in 2017-18, averaging 7.5 points, 2.6 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 23.6 minutes per game.
Qualls split the 2017-18 NBA G League season between the Salt Lake City Stars and the Texas Legends, averaging 8.3 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 19.2 minutes per contest. He also appeared in two games for Red October Cantu (Italy) during the 2017-18 campaign. The Louisiana native played in 33 games (25 starts) for Hapoel Galil Gilboa (Isreal) in 2016-17, averaging 13.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.4 steals. Qualls played four collegiate seasons (2012-15) at Arkansas.
