Wisconsin Herd Invite Public to Scrimmage and Meet The Team Party on Oct. 27

By ohill | October 25, 2018

The Wisconsin Herd, the NBA G League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks, will host a training camp scrimmage on Saturday, Oct. 27, from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. at the Heart of the Valley YMCA, followed by a Meet the Team party at Fox River Brewing Company from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. Both events are free and open to the public.

The scrimmage allows fans to see the Herd training camp roster in action and provides a rare peek into the inner-workings of an NBA G League team. It will take place at the Heart of the Valley YMCA in Kimberly. Attendees must check in with Herd staff prior to entering the facility. General admission seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Meet the Team party will give fans the chance to hear from Herd Head Coach Jordan Brady, who will introduce his squad. Current players and coaches will eat with fans, sign autographs and take photos with attendees. The event will be held at Fox River Brewing Company and is free and open to the public.

Media interested in attending the open scrimmage and/or Meet the Team party should RSVP to ohill@wisconsinherd.com, by 3 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 26. Select players and coaches will be available for interviews following the scrimmage.
