Fans Encouraged to “Go Green” and Recycle Electronic Devices
The Wisconsin Herd, in partnership with Sadoff E-Recycling and Data Destruction, will observe St. Patrick’s Day early and host a “St. Practice Day” celebration on Saturday, March 10.
St. Patrick’s Day-themed festivities are planned through the game vs. the Westchester Knicks. The Herd will wear its green road uniforms and Menominee Nation Arena will feature a specialty beverage – “the Shamrocker.”
“We hope to channel the ‘luck of the Irish’ early with a win on St. Practice Day at Menominee Nation Arena,” said Herd president Steve Brandes. “Fans are encouraged to wear green to the game and ‘go green’ by recycling approved electronic devices at our electronic recycling drive powered by Sadoff E-Recycling.”
Fans will have the opportunity to safely recycle the following electronic devices free of charge: computers, gaming systems, mobile devices, hard drives, thumb drives, jump drives and electrical cords. Sadoff E-Recycling and Data Destruction will securely handle the items and destroy all data. The e-recycling experts will donate $1 to the Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh for each eligible item collected on Saturday.
The drive will start at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 10 at Menominee Nation Arena (1212 S. Main Street, Oshkosh). A ticket is not required to drop off items.
The following items will not be accepted at the electronic recycling drive: printers, faxes, monitors, TVs, microwaves or dehumidifiers. Individuals interested in safely recycling these items can bring them to the Sadoff E-Recycling and Data Destruction location at 36 East 10th Ave. in Oshkosh between 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
