The Wisconsin Herd, the NBA G League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks, today acquired Joel Bolomboy to the team’s roster.
Bolomboy (6-9, 231 lbs) began the 2017-18 season on a Two-Way contract with the Bucks. He played in six games with Milwaukee and averaged 1.5 points with 1.7 rebounds in 6.3 minutes per game. Bolomboy has played in nine games (all starts) with the Herd this season, averaging 15.0 points and 11.2 rebounds per game while shooting 54.3 percent from the field.
The 23-year-old was the 52nd overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft by the Utah Jazz. He appeared in 12 games with the Jazz in 2016-17 and averaged 1.8 points and 1.4 rebounds per game. The Weber State product also played 24 games for the Salt Lake City Stars of the NBA G League and averaged 16.4 points and 13.2 rebounds per contest.
The Herd faces the Texas Legends in the NBA G League Showcase tonight at 5 p.m. Fans can stream the game via Twitch and listen to the action on The Score (99.1 FM in Oshkosh and 95.3 in the Fox Valley).
