Xavier Munford and James Young Sign Two-Way Contracts, Mark First GATORADE Call-Ups in Herd History
The Wisconsin Herd, the NBA G League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks, today signed Michigan State alum Eron Harris to the team’s roster.
In two seasons with Michigan State (2015-17), Harris appeared in 63 games (46 starts). The 6-3, 190-pound guard averaged 9.8 points per game, shooting 41.1 percent from three-point range. The 24-year-old also played two seasons (2012-14) with West Virginia.
The Bucks previously announced that Xavier Munford signed a Two-Way contract with the team on Sunday, Jan. 7 — the second GATORADE Call-Up for the Herd. Munford appeared in 20 games (19 starts) with Wisconsin this season. The Rhode Island product can spend up to 25 days with the Bucks, not including any time spent with Milwaukee following the conclusion of the Herd’s regular season.
James Young signed a Two-Way contract with the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday, Jan. 5, marking the first GATORADE Call-Up in Wisconsin Herd history.
Wisconsin will play two games at the 2018 NBA G League Showcase in Mississauga, Ontario. The Herd faces the Texas Legends on Wednesday (Jan. 10) at 5 p.m. and the Austin Spurs on Friday (Jan. 12) at noon. Fans can stream the games via Facebook Live and listen to the action on The Score (99.1 FM in Oshkosh and 95.3 in the Fox Valley).
